Patriot air defense system already on combat duty in one sector — Ukraine's Air Force

Ukrainian Air Force Commander, Lieutenant General Mykola Oleschuk has inspected the combat positions of the Patriot air defense system in one sector.

He reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"In the photo behind me is a launcher of the Patriot air defense system, which is already on combat duty in Ukraine's air defense system! Although in small numbers, but in fact, we already have modern Western anti-aircraft missile systems: NASAMS, IRIS-T, Patriot, SAMP/T, Crotale, Gepard and others. To complete the puzzle of a promising Ukrainian air defense system, the Air Force needs the F-16!" he wrote.

The commander thanked the anti-aircraft gunners who completed the training much earlier than planned, as well as the partners and everyone who helped Ukraine receive air defense systems.
