Russian artillery hits Nikopol

The invasion forces struck Nikopol, employing heavy artillery, overnight Monday, April 24.

That’s according to Serhiy Lysak, the head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.

"Tonight, the enemy hit Nikopol. They hit the city using heavy artillery. No one was hurt by shelling," official wrote on Telegram.

Emergency services are working at the scene to assess damage inflicted to infrastructure.

In other districts of Dnipropetrovsk region no enemy strikes were reported.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, Russian drones attacked Nikopol five times yesterday afternoon. Destruction and casualties were confirmed.
