Ukraine approaching ‘all for all’ exchange - Budanov
Our country is approaching an "all-for-all" exchange with Russia, and it is real.
The head of the Defense Intelligence of Ukraine, Kyrylo Budanov, said this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine, answering the question of whether he considers this exchange format realistic, Ukrinform reports.
"Yes, [I think], we are, in principle, approaching this. Let's look at the numbers again. As of now, more than 2,200 people have already been exchanged [the number of people released from captivity by Ukraine]. This is an unprecedented case in world history. No one has ever done anything like this. All exchanges take place after the end of hostilities and not during them," he clarified.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Andriy Yermak, said that Ukraine and Russia had conducted an Easter prisoner exchange, with 130 Ukrainian defenders returning home.
