Zelensky: Museum worker killed, 10 injured in Russian strike on Kupiansk

A museum worker was killed, and ten people were injured in the morning shelling of the city center of Kupiansk in Kharkiv region by Russian invaders. There are some people still trapped under the rubble.

President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

" We know about a dead museum worker and ten injured. There are still people under the rubble. Liquidation of the consequences of the shelling continues. All necessary services are involved. Our condolences to the families of the victims. All those responsible for these war crimes will definitely be held accountable and will be ruthless," he said.

Zelensky reminded that the Russians had struck the center of Kupiansk, the local history museum.

"The terrorist country is doing everything to destroy us completely: our history, our culture, our people, killing Ukrainians using absolutely barbaric methods. We have no right to forget about this for a second. We must and will be responsible!" the president emphasized.

As reported, on Tuesday, the Russian army fired on the center of Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, with S-300 air defense systems, hitting a museum.
