Russian helicopter fire at village in Sumy region
Ukraine’s Operational Command North showed the aftermath of a Russian airstrike on Sumy region.
According to Ukrinform, the command wrote this on Telegram, publishing relevant photos.
"The aftermath of an airstrike from a helicopter on Seredyna-Buda settlement, Sumy region. According to preliminary information, two private houses were damaged," the report says.
In addition, two civilians in Yunakivka community were injured in Russia’s mortar shelling, according to the Sumy Regional Military Administration.
"Today at noon, the Russians shelled Yunakivka community with mortars – there were 4 hits. As a result of the shelling of the community, two civilians were injured," the report says.
The injured were taken to the hospital. They are currently receiving qualified medical care.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the morning of April 26, the Russian army shelled border districts of Sumy and Chernihiv regions, using artillery, mortars, rocket launchers and helicopters.
