Zelensky on Mykolaiv missile strike: “Russians won’t get away with this crime”
The Russian army will not get away with the overnight missile attack on Mykolaiv. They will be held accountable for everything.
This was emphasized by President Volodymyr Zelensky of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
"The country-invader never ceases to prove that the main goal of this war is terror and the destruction of Ukrainians and everything Ukrainian,” Zelensky wrote on Telegram.
“At night, Russia shelled Mykolaiv with four Kalibr missiles launched from the Black Sea. High-precision weapons were aimed at private houses, a historic building and a high-rise building," president stressed.
At the moment, one death was confirmed, while 23 people are reported wounded, including a child.
“Eternal memory to the deceased and speedy recovery to the wounded. The terrorists will not get away with this yet another crime against humanity,” Zelensky wrote. “We will find all the culprits. There will be accountability for everything.”
As Ukrinform reported earlier, referring to Operational Command South, overnight Thursday, April 27, the enemy attacked Mykolaiv using Kalibr missiles launched from the Black Sea. Four missiles changed their approach trajectory to complicate detection. A house was destroyed and another was damaged. An apartment block and historical building were significantly damaged.
