Invaders continue building echelon defense around Mariupol
The Russian invaders are actively digging trenches and building echelon defense around Mariupol.
"The occupiers continue to dig in and build echelon defense around Mariupol. Now they arrange dugouts with wood," Petro Andriushchenko, adviser to Mariupol mayor, posted on Telegram.
According to him, yesterday, for the first time, a large number of military trucks loaded with wood drove to Manhush district and partly in the direction of Berdiansk.
Mariupol mayor’s adviser notes that wood is being transported for the construction of fortifications. The number of fortifications is growing in all directions. In particular, Andriushchenko released a map showing the places where the fortifications are being built.
In addition, he informed that the invaders had begun to settle in vacant houses in the villages north of Mariupol along the line of Kalchyk/Aslanovo/Zaria/Novoalekseyivka/Novoselivka since Monday.
As reported, the movement of military trucks with ammunition in the direction of Berdiansk is spotted in Mariupol, temporarily captured by the Russian army.
