Russians shell border of Chernihiv, Sumy regions nine times

In the afternoon, Russian troops fired nine more times at the border of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions - with mortars, artillery and helicopter gunships.

The press service of the Operational Command "North" reported this on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.

 "As of 21:00 on April 27, Russian troops fired at the border of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions nine more times. They used mortars, artillery and missiles launched from a helicopter," the statement said.

In particular, in the area of Seredyna-Buda settlement, attacks were recorded, allegedly from a 120mm mortar from 13:05 to 13:10 ( two explosions), from 12:00 to 12:20 ( seven explosions), and at about 15:35 four missiles were fired, supposedly from a helicopter..

In the area of the settlement of Marchykhyna, shelling was recorded from 11:10 to 11:15, allegedly from a 120mm mortar ( four explosions).

According to the OC “North”, in the area of Bachivsk settlement from 12:40 to 12:50 there were also attacks, allegedly from a 120mm mortar ( six explosions), and at about 14:50 there was an explosion of a missile launched from a helicopter.

Between 14:00 and 14:15, 30 explosions, possibly of MLRS shells, were recorded in the area of Semenivka.

In addition, from 16:00 to 16:55, shelling from cannon artillery (19 explosions) was recorded in the area of Hremiach village, and from 16:35 to 17:00 - probably from a 120mm mortar (five explosions).

The military noted that there were no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, as of 13:00 on Thursday, Russian troops fired  at the border of the Sumy region eight times.
