In Uman, Russian missile obliterates part of apartment block
In Uman, Cherkasy region, a Russian missile hit a residential high-rise. Rescuers and medics are working at the scene.
That’s according to Zoya Vovk, head of the communications department at the Cherkasy Region Police Department.
"An enemy missile hit a residential building. Reports on casualties are being verified," spokesperson wrote on Telegram, adding that videos from the site are already circulating across social media.
As reported earlier, overnight Friday, as of 4:20, an air raid alert went off across all Ukrainian regions.
In Kyiv region, air defense forces were activated, according to the regional military administration. A number of explosions were heard.

The head of the Cherkasy Regional Military Administration, Ihor Taburets, later added that, in fact, two Russian cruise missiles had hit Uman. Another one damaged a local warehouse.
"We are verifying reports on the aftermath. All emergency services scrambled to the scene," the head of the region wrote.
