National Guard members destroy Russia’s ZALA drone in Kherson region
In the Kherson region, the members of the National Guard of Ukraine have detected and destroyed Russia’s ZALA 421 unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV).
The relevant statement was made by the National Guard of Ukraine on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“Russian troops usually use this device to conduct reconnaissance, control the territory, search for and destroy targets, monitor the movement of military equipment, etc.,” the report states.
The downed drone landed on a minefield. Having checked the area for being exposed to enemy fire, the National Guard members cleared a path of mines and recovered the UAV. Experts will further examine it.
A reminder that, as of April 28, 2023, Ukraine’s Defense Forces eliminated about 189,460 Russian troops.
