Russians shell Sumy, Chernihiv regions eight times – North Operational Command

On Saturday, April 29, Russian troops shelled the border areas of the Chernihiv and Sumy regions eight times, firing almost 80 rounds.

According to Ukrinform, Ukraine's North Operational Command reported this in a post on Telegram.

From 08:50 to 09:42, outside the village of Oleksandrivka, there were 28 hits, probably from 152 mm self-propelled artillery pieces.

From 09:50 to 09:55, near the village of Sopych, six explosions were recorded, probably caused by a 120 mm mortar. From 10:30 to 10:50, the invaders fired seven rounds, probably from the same weapon, at Arkhypivka.

From 11:30 to 11:35, two hits were recorded in the Seredyna-Buda area, probably from gun artillery. From 12:10 to 13:00, in the area of the village of Hremiach, ten hits were recorded, probably from the same weapon.

From 14:30 to 15:20, the enemy fired 15 shells, probably from 120 mm mortars, at Leonivka. From 15:25 to 15:45, nine hits were recorded in the village of Studenok, probably from barrel artillery.

From 19:51 to 19:54, two hits were recorded, probably from a 120 mm mortar, in the Mykolaivka area.
