Russian invaders struck the city of Kupiansk, Kharkiv region, early on Sunday, April 30.

Oleh Syniehubov, head of the Kharkiv regional military administration, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"In the past 24 hours, the enemy continued shelling the settlements of the Kharkiv, Chuhuiv and Kupiansk districts of the region," Syniehubov said.

In particular, Kupiansk, Vovchansk, Vovchanski Khutory, Chervona Zoria, Dvorichna, Lyman Pershyi and other towns and villages were under enemy fire.

"Today, at 06:45, the Russian occupiers struck the center of Kupiansk using MLRS. A private house and garages were damaged. Fires broke out. Four cars were destroyed. Fortunately, no one was hurt," Syniehubov said.

He also noted that demining of liberated territories is ongoing in the region. Over the past day, units of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service inspected almost 11 hectares of territory and disposed of 123 explosive items.
