Ukrainian military practice positional combat operations in Great Britain
In the United Kingdom, under the guidance of Danish instructors, the Ukrainian military are receiving training on conducting positional combat operations, namely the actions of preparing, seizing and holding a position.
The relevant statement was made by the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on Facebook, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
“The servicemen and servicewomen of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Denmark Forsvaret, as part of the basic military training of the personnel of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in Great Britain, conduct classes on conducting positional combat operations. In particular, the actions of preparing, seizing and holding a position, moving in battle in various ways, the order of actions during a maneuver and moving from a temporary to the main firing position are practiced,” the report states.
According to the General Staff, such training allows for mastering combat skills, increasing the security and operational strength of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, so that Ukrainian soldiers can acquire the necessary tactical knowledge for the defense of Ukraine.
“Under the guidance of the instructors of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Denmark, the recruits of the Armed Forces of Ukraine became more prepared for the combat conditions,” the General Staff added.
The Kingdom of Denmark continues to support the Ukrainian people and is providing continuous aid in response to Russia’s ongoing violations of international law.
Having arrived in the United Kingdom, the representatives of the Armed Forces of the Kingdom of Denmark joined partner countries in the UK-led training program for Ukrainian recruits.
