The Russian army has once again attacked the Nikopol district, Dnipropetrovsk region, with heavy artillery, killing one person and injuring two others.

Mykola Lukashuk, head of Dnipropetrovsk Regional Council, reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.

"Russian occupiers do not stop terrorizing the Nikopol district. This evening, the aggressor attacked the district with heavy artillery again. Unfortunately, a 48-year-old man died. He was at home when the Russian army meanly struck a peaceful city," Lukashuk said.

Two more people - an 80-year-old man and a 46-year-old woman - were injured.

In Nikopol, enemy shelling damaged six five-story buildings and the same number of private houses, five outbuildings, two gas pipelines and electricity networks. The consequences are still being clarified.

In the early hours of Sunday, April 30, the enemy hit Nikopol with artillery, damaging private houses.
