Kherson region comes under enemy fire 39 times, civilian killed

On April 30, 2023, Russian troops attacked the Kherson region 39 times, having fired 163 projectiles.

The relevant statement was made by Kherson Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Prokudin on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Russian troops used heavy artillery, the Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and aircraft.

The city of Kherson came under enemy fire eight times.

According to Prokudin, Russian projectiles targeted residential areas across the Kherson region’s settlements. The building of a public institution was hit in downtown Kherson.

As a result of Russian attacks, one civilian was reported killed and three injured, including a child.

Meanwhile, 62 more people have been evacuated from the Kherson region’s de-occupied areas over the past day.
