U.S. ambassador thanks those who protect Ukraine's skies from Russia's barbaric attacks

U.S. Ambassador to Ukraine Bridget Brink has thanked Ukraine's air defense forces for protecting Ukraine's skies during Russia's missile attack and added that the United States will work to support their ability to defeat Russia's barbaric attacks.

Brink reported this on Twitter, according to Ukrinform.

"Russia again launched missiles in the deep of night at Ukrainian cities where civilians, including children, should be able to sleep safely and peacefully. I am grateful for those who protect Ukraine's skies, and the United States will continue to work hard and fast to support them and their ability to defeat Russia's barbaric attacks on the people of Ukraine," she wrote.

Russian troops last night attacked Ukraine from strategic bombers, firing 18 cruise missiles. Ukraine's air defense forces destroyed 15 of them.
