Russian aircraft strike Huliaypole, injuring civilians
On Monday, May 1, Russian troops attacked the town of Huliaypole in Zaporizhzhia region from the air. Three civilians were injured.
“According to the investigation data, around 11:30 on May 1, Russian invaders launched airstrikes on Huliaypole, injuring three civilians and partially destroying private residential buildings and outbuildings,” the Prosecutor General's Office posted on Telegram.
The blast wave blew out windows, shattered window panes, and damaged a car.
A pre-trial investigation was opened into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
As reported, over the past day, the Russian army launched 47 artillery strikes on Zaporizhzhia region and used drones and aircraft for attacks in the region. In particular, Huliaypole, Orikhiv, and Kamyanske came under enemy fire.
