Russian army shells border of Chernihiv, Sumy regions at night and in the morning
From 22:00 on May 1 to 08:00 on May 2, the Russian army fired four times at the border of the Chernihiv and the Sumy regions.
The Operational Command "North" reported this on Telegram, according to Ukrinform.
At about 22:51, four hits, probably from cannon artillery, were recorded near the village of Sosnivka.
Between 22:35 and 22:37, two hits were recorded, allegedly from a 120-mm mortar, in the area of Vintorivka.
Between 06:18 and 06:32, three hits, allegedly from a 120-mm mortar, were recorded in the area of Rivne.
Between 06:00 and 06:30, seven hits, probably from cannon artillery, were recorded in the area of Muravi.
According to the Sumy Military District Administration, at night, Russian troops fired mortars at the territory of the Novoslobidska community. In Shalyhinska, shelling with cannon artillery was recorded, Yunakivka was hit with mortars, Seredyna-Buda was shelled with artillery, and the Bilopillia community was shelled with cannon artillery in the morning.
It is noted that there were no consequences. There were no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on May 1, the Russian army carried out an air strike on the border of the Chernihiv region, killing a boy born in 2009.
