Russian troops shell three districts of Kharkiv region overnight, two injured
Yesterday, on May 1, the Russian army shelled three districts of the Kharkiv region, injuring two people and damaging private houses.
Oleh Syniehubov, the head of the Kharkiv Regional Military Administration, said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.
"Yesterday, the enemy continued terrorist attacks on the settlements of the Kharkiv, Chuhuiv and Kupyansk districts of the region," the head of the RMA said.
The shelling of Kucherivka, the Kupyansk district, resulted in the hospitalization of a 65-year-old man with injuries. Three private houses, outbuildings and vehicles were damaged in the village.
In Vovchansk, the Chuguiv district, a 57-year-old man was hospitalized in a moderately serious condition.
In the village of Vilkhuvatka, the Kharkiv district, shelling damaged a private house and an outbuilding.
According to Syniehubov, over the past day, pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service examined more than 12 hectares of territory in the region and defused 167 explosive devices.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on April 30, in Kupyansk, the Kharkiv region, a medical facility was damaged and a company car was destroyed as a result of enemy shelling from Grad multiple rocket launchers.
