Fourteen apartments completely smashed in Russia’s missile attack on Uman

Fourteen apartments were completely smashed in Russia’s missile strike on an apartment block in the Cherkasy region’s Uman, which took place on April 28, 2023. Fourteen more apartments were listed as dangerous.

The relevant statement was made by Cherkasy Regional Military Administration Head Ihor Taburets during an online briefing at Media Center Ukraine - Ukrinform.

“Out of 99 apartments in that house, fourteen were smashed completely and fourteen more were recognized as dangerous. Twenty-six persons need to be rehoused. People are now moving into hotels and dormitories that used to be prepared for internally displaced persons arriving from the areas of hostilities,” Taburets told.

In his words, for those affected by the enemy missile attack, a total of UAH 3.2 million has already been allocated from the city budget and UAH 5.2 million from the regional budget. Relatives of those killed will receive UAH 100,000, and the injured civilians – UAH 50,000 each. Food products and household appliances were provided to those who had already been rehoused.
