Blast rocks Russian military base near occupied Crimea’s Simferopol - media
An explosion occurred at the former border guard training base near the Simferopol airport in Russian-occupied Crimea.
That’s according to RFE/RL, Ukrinform reports.
"According to the published photos, it was possible to geolocate the explosion site: it is what once was a training base for border guards in the area of Jabanak creek near the village of Shkilne, a few kilometers from the Simferopol airport," the report says.
Initially, Russian Telegram channels reported the sounds of explosions in Sevastopol. At the same time, RFE/RL claims that this is about the base of the Russian border guards near Simferopol.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, since the start of 2023, more than 30 explosions were recorded in various areas of Crimea, a Ukrainian peninsula temporarily occupied by Russia.
