Russia claims drone attacked Kremlin

The press service of the Russian president has announced that an attempted drone strike on the Kremlin was repelled.

That's according to TASS on Telegram channel, Ukrinform reports.

"Russian military and special services disabled two drones that attacked the Kremlin, there were no casualties. Russia remains the right to respond to an attempt to strike the Kremlin wherever and whenever it deems necessary," the statement said.

It is stated that the Kremlin regards the attempted attack as "a planned terrorist action and an assassination attempt on the President of the Russian Federation the day before Victory Day."

At the same time, it is specified that Russian President Putin "was not injured and continues to work as usual."
