Sixteen people killed in Russia’s shelling of Kherson region
Sixteen people have been reported killed in Russia’s shelling of the Kherson region today.
The relevant statement was made by the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.
On the morning of May 3, 2023, Russian troops began to massively attack the city of Kherson and settlements across the Kherson region. As of 04:30 p.m., twelve civilians were killed in Russian chaotic attacks on civil infrastructure in the city of Kherson. Twenty-two more people received injuries of various severity levels.
On the afternoon of May 3, 2023, between the village of Stepanivka and the village of Muzykivka, a team of power engineers came under enemy fire while doing repairs after Russia’s another attack. Three workers received serious injuries and died.
Additionally, a man was killed in the enemy shelling of the Darivka community.
According to the Ukrainian Prosecutor General’s Office, Russian attacks continue.
