Shelling in Kherson region left 17 dead, 45 injured

As a result of Russian shelling on Wednesday in Kherson region, 17 people were killed and 26 injured.

The Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights Dmytro Lubinets said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"This morning, the Russian side has been shelling the city of Kherson and other settlements in the region. Currently, 17 people have been killed! Preliminary, 26 more were injured. These are civilians whose fundamental right to life has been taken away by Russia!" said Lubinets.

He emphasized that the aggressor country is targeting residential buildings, shops, public transport stops, and railways with precision missile strikes.

"These crimes for which the aggressor must be punished! This is terrorism against the civilian population!" emphasized Lubinets.

In turn, the Head of the Kherson City Military Administration Roman Mrochko wrote on Telegram.

"Terrible news for the Kherson community! As of today, 17 people have been killed by the actions of racists-inhumans, 45 have been injured, including two children," Mrochko said.

As reported, on the morning of May 3, Russian troops began massively shelling the city of Kherson and settlements in the region.
