Woman killed in Russian airstrike on Chernihiv region
A Russian attack on the Chernihiv region on May 3 has killed a woman.
Chernihiv regional governor Viacheslav Chaus said this in a post on Facebook, according to Ukrinform.
"Seventeen explosions in the past 24 hours near and in the settlements of the Novhorod-Siverskyi and Koriukivka districts. At around 23:20, an airstrike in the village of Ivanivka, Novhorod-Siverskyi district, set a residential building and an outbuilding on fire and damaged a building," Chaus wrote.
A woman born in 1941 died. Information about those injured is being clarified.
On May 1, the Russian army carried out an airstrike on the border area of the Chernihiv region, killing a boy born in 2009.
