Russians hit Kherson region 71 times in past day, injuring two civilians

Russian army launched 71 strikes on Kherson region over the past day, injuring two civilians.

"Over the past day, the enemy launched 71 strikes, firing 411 shells from heavy artillery, Grad MLRS, tanks, UAVs, and aircraft. The enemy shelled Kherson city 11 times," Oleksandr Prokudin, Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, posted on Telegram.

"Russian military targeted the residential neighborhoods of the populated settlements of the region; the territory of a plant in Kherson and a church in Beryslav district," Prokudin noted.

He added that two people were injured due to Russian aggression.

Over the past day, another 155 people were evacuated from the region’s territory liberated from the Russians.

As reported, on May 4, Russian invaders shelled Kherson region 95 times, injuring three people.
