A series of explosions rang out in Sevastopol, temporarily occupied Crimea, on the night of May 7.

As Ukrinform reports with reference to local media outlets, explosions were heard in Sevastopol, on Cape Fiolent south of the city, in Kozacha Bay, 15 km from the center of Sevastopol, and in Saki town.

It is assumed that the sounds of explosions are the result of a drone attack. According to Baza outlet, at least one UAV was shot down over Sevastopol, and its debris flew 70 m around the area of Cape Fiolent.

Eyewitnesses talk about the work of the air defense systems. However, a hit was reported in Striletska Bay – a neighborhood in the western part of Sevastopol.

There is currently no reaction from the occupying authorities of Crimea.
