Kherson region comes under enemy fire 63 times, civilian injured

On May 9, 2023, russian troops attacked the Kherson region 63 times, having fired 354 projectiles.

The relevant statement was made by Kherson Regional Military Administration Head Oleksandr Prokudin on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

Russian troops used heavy artillery, the Grad multiple launch rocket systems (MLRS), tanks, recoilless guns, unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and aircraft.

The city of Kherson came under enemy fire seven times.

According to Prokudin, Russian projectiles targeted residential areas across the Kherson region’s settlements. Additionally, a school and a medical aid post were hit, as well as the area and the building of a shopping mall. One civilian was reported injured.

Meanwhile, 49 more people have been evacuated from the Kherson region’s de-occupied areas over the past day.

A reminder that, on May 8, 2023, Russian troops attacked the Kherson region 46 times. Fourteen people were injured.
