Kropyvnytskyi has completed the development of a project for the reconstruction of sectors for honorary burials of servicemen in the Rivne and Far Eastern cemeteries.

"In Kropyvnytskyi, the procedure for developing a project for the reconstruction of sectors for honorary burials of servicemen in the territories of Rivne and Far Eastern cemeteries in Kropyvnytskyi has been completed. Members of the initiative group, the relatives of the fallen soldiers, were the first to see the future Pantheon of Kropyvnytskyi Heroes," the statement said.
Deputy Mayor Oleksandr Vergun presented the finished work to the initiative group - the relatives of the fallen soldiers. According to him, the memorial complex at the Far Eastern Cemetery (the sector where the soldiers are now buried), according to the reconstruction project, will be identical to the complex at the Rivne Cemetery - it will have an entrance group with the names of all the buried soldiers, alleys, paths between the graves, and a fence. On the opposite side, there are plans to arrange a parking lot, plant thuja trees and install benches and trash cans along the perimeter of the complex. The total area of the site is 0.548 hectares, and the cost of the reconstruction project is 25 million.
The developed project also provides for the arrangement of a part of the honorary military burial sector at the Rivne Cemetery. The cost of this project is UAH 3.1 million, the area of the site is 0.063 hectares.
Work on the project to reconstruct the sectors for honorary military burials in Kropyvnytskyi began last summer.
