In south, invaders in panic scattering efforts in several directions - military spox

The invaders are feeling restless in the face of the Ukrainian counteroffensive and, not understanding where to expect the main attack, are scattering their efforts in several directions.

The Head of the Joint Press Center of the Operational Command "South" said this on the air of the telethon "United News", an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

"Their panic is visible and lies in the fact that they do not know where to expect the maximum force of the attack, and that is why they are spreading their efforts to both Zaporizhzhia and Kherson directions," Humeniuk said.

According to her, the situation in the Kherson region is quite tense, the enemy continues shelling, although it is being pushed back by the Defense Forces, and "tries to take positions very carefully because it feels uneasy in this area, which we are working on."

"They are mining very densely from the water's edge of the left bank inland, trying to ensure that the Defense Forces are unable to overcome the river barrier and the further land. This is how they (the invaders - ed.) are trying to defend themselves," the spokeswoman said.

According to her, the evacuation of civilians in these areas by the invaders is "a confirmation that they are trying to equip the very defense line for a certain expectation."
