Enemy shells border area of Sumy, Chernihiv regions four times

On Thursday evening, Russian forces shelled the border area of Sumy and Chernihiv regions four times.

The Operational Command North wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

"As of 21:00 on May 11, Russian troops shelled the border area of Chernihiv and Sumy regions four more times," the report says.

From 17:15 to 17:20, two hits, presumably from a 120-mm mortar, were recorded in the area of Leonivka settlement.

From 17:20 to 17:25, three hits, presumably from barrel artillery, were recorded in the area of Chervone settlement.

From 18:15 to 18:50, 16 hits, presumably from a 120-mm mortar, were recorded in the area of Znob-Novhorodske.

From 19:00 to 20:00, 15 hits, presumably from barrel artillery, were recorded in the area of Muravyi settlement.  

According to the Operational Command North, information about losses among the local population and damage to civil infrastructure is being clarified.

As reported, on May 11, Russian troops launched 17 attacks on border communities of Sumy region.
