The city of Beryslav in Ukraine's Kherson region has been left without electricity after Russian aircraft attacked the city with two guided bombs this morning.

Oleksandr Prokudin, head of the Kherson regional military administration, said this in a post on the Telegram messaging app, Ukrinform reports.

"At four o'clock in the morning, the enemy attacked the city with two guided bombs. The building of a critical infrastructure facility was damaged. The shelling left Beryslav without electricity. Currently, the energy companies are doing everything possible to return the light to the homes of city residents as soon as possible," Prokudin wrote.

He added that it was a miracle that there were no civilian casualties.
