Zelensky visits military base in Germany, meets with Ukrainian soldiers
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has visited a military base in Germany where Ukrainian soldiers are undergoing training.
That's according to the press service of the head of state, Ukrinform reports.
"As part of his official visit to Germany, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky visited the military base in Aachen, where Ukrainian soldiers are undergoing training. The Head of State and Federal Chancellor of Germany Olaf Scholz had a conversation with Ukrainian soldiers who are undergoing training in the Bundeswehr," the report reads.
Zelensky and Scholz observed the elements of the training and the samples of German military equipment used by Ukrainian soldiers for training and supplied to Ukraine.
Zelensky thanked Scholz for supporting the training mission for the Ukrainian military.
In addition, Zelensky presented the Ukrainian warriors with state awards.
