Russian army hit Kherson region 80 times in past day, six civilians injured

On May 15, the Russian army launched 80 strikes on Kherson region, injuring six civilians.

Oleksandr Prokudin, the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, wrote this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports.

“Over the past day, the enemy launched 80 strikes, firing 407 projectiles from heavy artillery, tanks, UAVs and aircraft. The enemy shelled the city of Kherson 14 times (60 projectiles)," he wrote.

Prokudin stressed the Russian military targeted residential quarters of the region’s settlements and an educational institution in Kherson. The Russian strikes injured six people (including a child).

He added that 95 more people were evacuated from the liberated territories of the region.

As reported by Ukrinform, Russian troops shelled the village of Lviv, Tiahynka community, Kherson region, on May 15, hitting residential buildings and injuring two civilians.
