Kim explains why Russians shelling Mykolaiv region from Kinburn Spit

The Russian aggressors are shelling the communities of Ochakiv and Kutsurub in order to hinder the inclusion of the ports of the Mykolaiv region in the "grain corridor."

Vitaliy Kim, the chief of the Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration, stated this during an interview on "24 Channel," as reported by a correspondent from Ukrinform.

"Russians continue to shell the communities of Ochakiv and Kutsurub from the Kinburn Spit almost daily using all available weapons. They aim to demonstrate their presence there and hinder the inclusion of the Mykolaiv region's ports in the 'grain corridor,' which they claim poses a threat," Kim said.
