Russians hit Kherson region 57 times in past day
Over the past day, May 18, the Russian invaders launched 57 strikes on Kherson region, injuring two people.
“The enemy launched 57 attacks, firing 287 shells from heavy artillery, Grad MLRS, tanks, UAVs, and aircraft. Russian troops struck Kherson city twice, firing 11 shells,” Head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration Oleksandr Prokudin posted on Telegram.
The Russian military hit the residential neighborhoods of the population settlements of the region, two healthcare facilities, and a cultural center in Kherson city.
Two people were injured.
Over the past day, another 51 people were evacuated from the territory of the region liberated from the Russians.
As reported, on May 17, the Russian military shelled a village in Kherson region, killing a five-year-old boy and two men.
Two people were hospitalized. A 16-year-old teenager is in serious condition, a 24-year-old man has moderate injuries.
