Two Russian submarines on combat duty off Crimea coast

The Russian Federation keeps two missile carriers with a total of eight Kalibr cruise missiles on board in the Black Sea.

That’s according to Operational Command South, Ukrinform reports.

"The enemy has doubled the number of missile carriers deployed in the Black Sea: two submarine missile carriers equipped with eight Kalibrs are currently on combat duty," the statement reads.

OC South also warned the population that, taking into account the strengthening of reconnaissance activity by enemy drones and the available intelligence about the likely readiness of enemy bombers to take off, air raid alerts should be taken seriously.

As Ukrinform reported earlier, as of 10:30 on May 20, Russia kept a single missile carrier with four Kalibr on board off the coast of occupied Crimea.
