Russians fire drones at Dnipropetrovsk region, all of them downed

On the night of May 21, 2023, Russian troops fired unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) at the Dnipropetrovsk region. Ukraine’s air defense forces destroyed all enemy targets.

The relevant statement was made by Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration Head Serhii Lysak on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Last night the enemy fired UAVs at the Dnipropetrovsk region. All drones were shot down by the East Air Command. Excellent work,” Lysak wrote.

In his words, no other cases of enemy attacks were recorded in the region last night.

“In the morning, the aggressor struck the Nikopol district with heavy artillery. The Myrove community was hit. Civilians remained unharmed. The effects of the enemy attack are yet to be checked,” Lysak added.

A reminder that, on the night of May 21, 2023, air raid sirens were ringing out across the Dnipropetrovsk region. Air defense systems were reported to have been activated.
