Rescuer injured in Russia’s nighttime attack on Dnipro

On the night of May 21-22, the Russian invaders shelled a fire and rescue unit of Ukraine’s State Emergency Service in the city of Dnipro, injuring a rescuer.

According to Ukrinform, the State Emergency Service reported this on Telegram.

According to Serhii Kruk, the head of the State Emergency Service, "at night, the enemy insidiously fired at a fire and rescue unit. Three buildings were damaged, more than 20 pieces of equipment were destroyed. One rescuer was injured."

Kruk emphasized: “Destroying units of the State Emergency Service is a gross violation of the norms of the Geneva Convention, as well as a violation of all norms of international law and ordinary human morality."

As Ukrinform reported, on the night of May 22, the Russian forces attacked Dnipropetrovsk region with missiles and drones. Casualties and destruction were reported.
