Russians shell Donetsk region’s Toretsk, destruction reported
On Tuesday morning, May 23, Russian attacks damaged a school, an outbuilding of the church and a multi-story building in Toretsk, Donetsk region.
Pavlo Kyrylenko, the head of the Donetsk Regional Military Administration, said this in a Telegram post, Ukrinform reports.
"This morning, the Russians struck Toretsk — fortunately, there have been no casualties. The school, where the Point of Invincibility is located, an outbuilding of the church and a multi-story building were damaged within a radius of 100 meters from the epicenter," the regional governor wrote.
He noted that, according to preliminary information, the enemy used aerial bombs.
Rescuers and the police are working at the scene.
As reported, yesterday, May 22, Russian troops killed one civilian and injured five more in Donetsk region.
Donetsk region is constantly under fire from Russian troops, the enemy kills and injures civilians and destroys infrastructure every day.
