Over 1.000 fire missions in day: how Ukrainian army destroys enemy in Tavria direction

Over the last day, the Defense Forces in the Tavria direction carried out more than 1.000 fire missions, destroying and wounding more than a company of Russian occupiers.

General Oleksandr Tarnavsky, commander of the Tavria Operational and Strategic Group of Troops said this on Telegram, Ukrinform reports. 

"The operation to destroy the enemy continues. The missile and artillery units of the Tavria Defense Forces completed 1.029 firing missions during the day. The enemy's losses in killed and wounded amounted to more than a company," the commander said.

Between February 24, 2022 and May 23, 2023, the enemy’s total combat losses also included 3,789 tanks (+4 over the past day), 7,419 armored fighting vehicles (+12), 3,318 artillery systems (+40), 565 multiple launch rocket systems, 327 anti-aircraft warfare systems, 309 aircraft, 295 helicopters (+1), 6,139 motor vehicles and fuel tanks (+10), 18 warships/boats, 2,864 unmanned aerial vehicles (+34), 433 special equipment units (+6). A total of 1,015 enemy cruise missiles were shot down.
