Ukrainian soldiers down enemy Ka-52 helicopter, four Shahed UAVs in past day

Ukrainian soldiers destroyed an enemy attack and reconnaissance helicopter Ka-52, four Shahed-type attack UAVs and a Zala-type reconnaissance drone in the past day.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said this in its morning update on Facebook, Ukrinform reports.

"In the past 24 hours, our soldiers destroyed an enemy Ka-52 attack helicopter. Thus, the Russian budget lost another 16 million in the U.S. dollar equivalent," the report says.

Units of the Ukrainian rocket forces and artillery hit three enemy command posts, four weapons and military equipment clusters, an ammunition depot, two artillery units in firing positions and another three important targets.

The Air Force of Ukraine launched 15 strikes on the areas where enemy personnel and military equipment were located, including three strikes targeting anti-aircraft missile systems.

As reported, the Russian forces are focusing their main efforts on the Kupiansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Maryinka directions, where 26 combat clashes took place in the past 24 hours.
