Verkhovna Rada delegation visits German military base where Ukrainian military personnel are trained

The delegation of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine visited one of the German military bases where Ukrainian military personnel are trained.

"This week, a delegation of the Committee on National Security, Defense and Intelligence, led by its chairman Oleksandr Zavitnevych, visited Germany," the press service of the Verkhovna Rada informs.

As noted, the first-ever joint meeting of the defense committees of the Ukrainian and German parliaments was held.

As part of the working visit, the Ukrainian MPs also met with German colleagues from other parliamentary committees and friendship groups, exchanged views with Tobias Lindner, Minister of State at the Federal Foreign Office, and took part in a solemn dinner at the German Ministry of Defence at the invitation of Siemtje Möller, Parliamentary State Secretary in the Federal Ministry of Defence.

The parliamentary delegation of the Verkhovna Rada also visited one of the German military bases where Ukrainian military personnel are trained on German equipment. There, Ukrainian MPs talked with the defenders of Ukraine and thanked German and international instructors.
