Russians launch four more strikes on border areas of Chernihiv region
As of 20:00 on May 27, Russian troops shelled the border areas of Chernihiv region four more times.
As the Operational Command "North" posted on Telegram, from 08:40 to 08:55, four strikes, probably launched from a 120mm mortar, were recorded in the area of Tymonovychi settlement.
From 09:27 to 09:50, 13 strikes, probably from tube artillery, were recorded in the area of Zaliznyi Mist settlement. Outbuildings caught fire as a result of the shelling. Rescuers of the State Emergency Service put out the fire.
From 09:30 to 09:47, 18 strikes, probably from a 120mm mortar, were recorded in the area of Mykolayivka settlement.
In addition, from 12:50 to 13:10, six strikes, probably from self-propelled guns, were recorded in the settlement of Chaykyne. "During the shelling, a hayloft, a tractor, and a car were damaged. A teenage girl was injured, she was given first aid and sent to the nearest healthcare facility for further examination," the report said.
As reported, on May 27, the Russian army shelled Zaliznyi Mist village in Novhorod-Siverskyi district, Chernihiv region. Residential buildings and power lines were damaged, more than 1,000 consumers were left without electricity.
