Russian leadership to be held to account for “barbaric” strikes on Dnipro, Kyiv - EU diplomacy
The Russian leadership and other individuals responsible for barbaric attacks that kill and terrorize civilians will all be held accountable.
The spokeswoman for the EU External Action Service, Nabila Massrali, wrote this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.
"Russia’s barbaric attacks continue, killing & terrorising civilians: attack on hospital in Dnipro, now Kyiv on dawn of Kyiv Day. RU leadership & perpetrators will be held accountable," the report says.
Massrali added that the EU, as before, is ready to help Ukraine defend itself.
As Ukrinform reported, two days earlier, the Russians launched a missile attack on the city of Dnipro, hitting a mental health facility and a veterinary clinic, killing two civilians.
On the night of May 28, Russian invaders attacked Ukraine with Shahed-136/131 drones from the north and south. A total of 52 enemy drones were shot down that night.
In the early hours of Monday, May 29, the Russian forces launched at Kyiv a barrage of drones and missiles, none of which reached their targets, according to local officials who said air defenses intercepted over 40 incoming objects.
