Residential houses and infrastructure objects have been damaged across several districts in Russia’s overnight attack on the Kyiv region.

The relevant statement was made by Head of the Main Directorate of the National Police of Ukraine in the Kyiv region Andrii Niebytov on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“Another massive attack by the enemy on the Kyiv region. The enemy fired cruise missiles and drones at us. The air raid sirens were ringing out from 00:31 a.m. until 05:00 a.m.,”  Niebytov wrote.

In his words, thanks to the efforts of Ukraine’s air defense forces, nearly all enemy targets were destroyed.

“As a result of the attack, residential houses and infrastructure objects were damaged across several districts in the region. No casualties were reported,” Niebytov added.

The Kyiv region’s police continue to determine the impact locations, where the fragments of enemy projectiles had landed, and are documenting the effects of Russia’s overnight attack.

A reminder that, on the night of May 29, 2023, Russia attacked the city of Kyiv with unmanned aerial vehicles and Kh-101/555 missiles. Ukraine’s air defense units destroyed over 40 enemy targets.
