Russia’s naval group in Black Sea expands to four missile carriers with 24 Kalibrs on board

Four Russian missile carriers are remaining combat ready in the Black Sea with a total volley of up to 24 Kalibr-type cruise missiles.

The relevant statement was made by Head of the United Coordinating Press Center of the Southern Defense Forces Natalia Humeniuk during a nationwide telethon, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

“There is a potential for a growing number of missile carriers in the Black Sea. During the day, there were three of them, and now there are already four missile carriers. Two surface ships and two submarines. The total volley may reach 24 Kalibr-type missiles. This can be preparation for overnight attacks,” Humeniuk told.

A reminder that, as of 10:00 a.m., May 29, 2023, Russia kept three missile carriers on combat duty in the Black Sea with up to 20 Kalibrs on board.
