Two Shahed drones shot down over Mykolaiv region

Last night Ukraine’s air defense units downed two enemy Shahed-131/136 suicide drones over the Mykolaiv region.

The relevant statement was made by Mykolaiv Regional Military Administration Head Vitalii Kim on Telegram, an Ukrinform correspondent reports.

According to Kim, Ukraine’s air defense units destroyed one Russian operational tactical unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) on May 29, 2023 and two Shahed-131/136 suicide drones on the night of May 30, 2023.

Around 11:01 a.m. and 16:01 p.m., May 29, 2023, Russian troops launched artillery strikes on Ochakiv. Residential buildings were partially destroyed and damaged, as well as household buildings and a power transmission line.

At 08:13 p.m., enemy attacks were recorded within the water area of the Ochakiv community.

No casualties among civilians were reported.

In the Pervomaisk, Bashtanka, Voznesensk districts and the city of Mykolaiv, it was relatively calm yesterday and last night, Kim added.

A reminder that, on the night of May 30, 2023, over 20 enemy drones were downed in Kyiv’s airspace.
