Latest Russian drone strike kills one, injures seven in Kyiv
As a result of the kamikaze UAV attack on Kyiv overnight Tuesday, one person was reported dead and another seven – injured.
That’s according to an update by the Kyiv City Military Administration, Ukrinform reports.
"One person died, seven sustained injuries of varying degrees of severity. All, except for one person, were affected in the Holosiivskyi district, where the debris hit a multi-storey building," said Serhii Popko, head of the KCMA.
He noted that almost all Shahed drones were downed on the outskirts of the capital and from the sky over Kyiv.
In addition, as a result of debris falling on the ground, a number of fires broke out. Destruction of residential and non-residential buildings was reported, as well as damage to vehicles, in various districts of Kyiv.
As Ukrinform reported earlier, on the night of May 30, the Russian Federation carried out its fourth strike targeting Kyiv in just two days. In different districts of the city on both banks of the Dnipro River, fragments of downed drones were discovered.
