Senator Graham expects successful Ukrainian counteroffensive
U.S. Republican Senator Lindsey Graham said after a meeting with British National Security Advisor Tim Barrow that he expects a successful Ukrainian counteroffensive.
According to an Ukrinform correspondent, Graham reported this on his Twitter account.
"We have a common view that Ukraine has exceeded every expectation and Russian forces have been bloodied and weakened in Ukraine. Expect real Ukrainian gains in counteroffensive, but we must show continued commitment to maximize effect," Graham said.
He added that the British Storm Shadow air launched missile "has been incredibly effective."
"The Brits are in it to win it for Ukraine. We have a common view that additional long range rockets - ATACMS - will enhance battlefield success for Ukraine. Very proud of our British allies," the senator said.
The Russian Interior Ministry earlier put Graham on the wanted list over remarks that he made during his visit to Ukraine. Earlier, a video of Graham's meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky circulated on social media, in which the American senator said that "Russians dying" is "the best money we've ever spent."
Graham said that he would "wear the arrest warrant issued by Putin's corrupt and immoral government as a Badge of Honor."
